Having looked at different camera shots and editing techniques, I realise that there is many to choose from. I have chosen a few that I think would be very effective in our story line.
Action Match - I think this would be a good shot to use because it can be very effective when trying to follow a single character and their actions. I would use this shot at the beginning of opening title sequence when the femme fatale leaves the house and is walking down the road.
Eyeline Match - an eyeline match is normally used to show an insight into a characters private thoughts. I think that this will be good to show the emotion of our femme fatale when she realises that she is being followed by a stranger.
Final Shot - this is a good shot to end a scene on. I would like to use this shot at the end of our sequence when the femme fatale is shot, I want to create a cliffhanger with this shot leaving the audience wondering why the femme fatale has been killed.
Pace of Editing - this can imply character qualities, for example if there is a fast pace it could suggest that there is panic which is what we want to create when our character is being followed.
Prevalance - our main character, the femme fatale has the most time on the screen therefore giving the audience a chance to get to know her character and give insights as to why she is being followed.
Shot/Reverse Shot - I want to use this shot to show the relationship between our femme fetale and the 'unknown' person that is following her. This can also be used to show the relationship between the femme fetale and the male sex at the beggining of the OTS.
Reaction Shot - This will be very useful when showing emotions and reactions on the femme fatale's face after an event, for example her reaction to a sexist comment at the beginning or when she realises that she is being followed.
