Self Assesment Blog

So far we've

• completed the continuity task (yet to be uploaded)
• individually we researched closely into mise en scene, lighting, sound and editing
• take location shots
• created our animatic movie, using post it notes and voice over on imovie
• research into film noir, different characters, what is a director, age certifications
• using prezi to create a concept board
• completing audience tasks 
• chose characters to be in our ots

We still have the following goals to achieve:

• start filming - in two different parts. First we will film the first scene (in the basement). We will film this on Thursday 3rd of February after school and it will be in the drama classroom. The second time we are going to be filming will be a week later, the 10th of February and this will be at around 6pm (whenever it gets dark) in our main location at riverside.
• We also need to collect the appropriate props. For example, for the first scene we will need a poker table, cards, alchohol bottles, fake ciggaretes etc. and for the scene at riverside we will need a gun.
• After all the filming is done (which will hopefully be by the 11th of February) we then need to begin editing.
