Evaluation

In my evaluation I will be answering the following questions -

1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
4. Who would be the audience for your media product?
5. How did you attract/address your audience?
6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

I am going to presenting my evaluation on prezi.

Market Research

We gave questionnaire's to student of our target audience (which is 15+ years old) to see their personal choices in films. From the questionnaire's we found that most people watch films 2-3 times a week and it is usually with another person. Also a lot of people said that they would not watch a film noir and this influenced our decision to change the conventions in our own film noir to make it more modern and less traditional to attract the younger audience.

OTS - final thing

We have finally finished editing our OTS and now all that is left to do is upload it to vimeo, then put it straight on our blogs. Our finished product is very much different to the one that we set out to film however considering everything me and my group are pretty pleased with it. We found that we had to film earlier in the day rather that later because it gets dark very quick and filming in the dark is no good. Also, as we started filming we developed more and more ideas which led to us changing the story line.

I am half way through my evaluation and I am doing it on prezi, so with less than 24 hours left, I have an evaluation to complete and a video to upload. I'm panicking but hoping I can get this done.
